Dungannon & District Housing Association was established in the 1960s in an attempt to combat problems surrounding the housing situation in Dungannon at that time.
‘ The aim of the Association is to provide good quality and affordable housing for persons and families on low income’
The Association has grown considerably since its humble beginnings and at the time of registering with the Department of Social Development for Northern Ireland in 1977, the Association had 91 Dwellings.
Today the Association has approximately 400 units of accommodation spread over the Cookstown, Dungannon, Omagh and Fermanagh District Council areas.
Our housing ranges from general family to special needs accommodation for various groups, as well as working with organisations such as Women’s Aid, the Northern Ireland Association of Mental Health (NIAMH) and more recently BCM.
